Returning to faith
Despite his Christian upbringing, his early years included a period of frustration in which he turned away from the faith and joined bad gangs. His biography draws a parallel with biblical figures such as Moses and Elijah, whose lives also involved struggle and transformation.
On 12 April 1997, he was baptized with the power of the Holy Ghost at CAC Holy Trinity, Osogbo, by Pastor J. O. Agbabiaka. In 1998, through the prayers of his parents, he fully rededicated his life to God. He credits God with helping him live a life of holiness since that time.
On 1 September 2002, he began working with the Ise/Orun Local Government.
Answering the call
In 2006, he received a job opportunity in Foley, United States of America. While arranging his ticket and other documents, he recounts hearing God’s voice instructing him to remain and work for Him.
He initially resisted the call. His account describes a prolonged illness lasting eight months, during which he became unable to care for himself. He recalls vomiting blood whenever he spoke and being turned away by the hospital.
On 19 January 2007, he submitted himself to God’s work for his generation. He recounts being healed instantly, to the amazement of those around him, and describes that moment as the end of his struggle with God’s call.
Since then, he has understood the experiences of his ministry as confirmation of his calling to serve God and bring deliverance to others.
A ministry of prayer
He was directed to the mountain at Ido-Ile in Ekiti State for further instruction. He travelled to and from the mountain for almost a year, spending much of his time there, day and night, in fasting and prayer for strength to serve. He regards this period as a foundation of his ministry.
He subsequently began “Morning of Success”, an early morning prayer programme held every Monday. Its maiden edition took place on 4 November 2007 at Lawyer Oladimeji’s house in Ise-Ekiti.
He also worked briefly as an evangelist at CAC Oke-Isegun, Ehin-Ogbe, Ise-Ekiti.
His ministry’s account speaks of testimonies of healing, deliverance, and an end to long-term barrenness during his ministrations. Salvation, healing, and deliverance remain central to his work in Ise/Orun, his operational base.
He ministers in other parts of Nigeria and around the world, where people continue to share testimonies of blessings to the glory of God. His church-planting work includes eight Christ Apostolic Church congregations in locations including Lagos, Abuja, and Ekiti.
Compassion in practice
In 2008, he founded the Lost Hope Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that empowers widows, widowers, and vulnerable people in society.
His commitment to community service also extends to education and healthcare. He founded Seed of Mercy Nursery and Primary School at No. 1 Ologbonyo Street, Orun, in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
He is also the founder of BOANERGES Hospital in Ise-Ekiti.
Faith expressed through care, education, and service to the community.
